Moving the battery to the trunk

I ran my battery cable on the inside. There is plenty of room under the 
carpet where the floor board and rocker panel meet. I have seen some who have 
routed the cable inside the rocker panel also. I think it looks a lot cleaner when 
you can't see something. While your at it, replace all of your major grounds 
for the battery and engine compartment.

Summit racing has a battery relocation kit that has the long positive cable 
and a marine battery box. This is also what I installed in my 87' 4000cs Q. 
Summit also sells some cool battery type parts like bulkhead connectors and 
remote battery terminals (so you can still jump your car under the hood if needed) 
I mounted my remote battery terminals where the battery used to be in the fire 
wall.
