T'was a balmy 99 here yesterday...and of course it was the one day I had to
spend in the car. LOVE those black interiors.

Anyway, car is a '87 5ktq, I have a rebuilt compressor that was installed
roughly 5 years ago, still works fairly well. I noticed last summer and now
that it makes noise. Not a "nasty" squealing type noise. More like another
motor running in the engine bay. It worked okay, struggled a bit with
outside temp showing 109. Today it's about 85-90 and it's comfy inside.

Is this sound normal? Maybe they're all like this and I've just noticed it?
PARANOIA! The urge to fix something that ain't broke is settling in! Just
how noisy/quiet should the compressor be?

Related: tax refund received, windows getting tinted next week.
