The solution, of course, would be for the FA to be made available, and SOLD
to anyone who wants one, with a 10% discount on parts at your local dealer
when you present your serialized certificate (or something) that says you
bought a legitimate copy of the FA, and you're an "FA Preferred Customer".
SNIP!

Yeah sure, and cut into their 200% profit margins?
You want to talk about ethics, sell me a car for 20 or 25g's or more which
actually cost say 7 or 10 (15 at the most) to make and ship to a dealer,
then throw in the floor mats for a measly $250(which only cost $5 from a
sweat shop in thailand, and are made by uneducated children), but hey were
practically giving you the dipstick... The no.1 reason i won't buy a new
car(again). As far as i'm concerned the MFG's can bite me if they think I'm
going feel bad about "stealing" their knowledge. They rip of everyone who
goes in to buy a new car(no matter how close to "list" you get)
end of rant ,just my .02

Brendan
