Vacuum pump for cruise control?

Have you checked the vaccum switches at the clutch and brake pedals?

That was the problem on one of our cars.

Check all potential leak points from the actuator to the pump to the pedal
switches before spending on a new vacuum pump.

Also, isn't that vacuum system connected to the intake manifold through a
check valve to prevent boost from getting into the vacuum system? If that
check valve was bad it could create a leak into the intake manifold that
you would never see with a bubble test.
