The Ol' Pentosin Volcano Syndrome - if you search the archives under
"pentosin volcano" you'll find many others.  I have a ZF rebuilt pump that's
suffering from that - it's sucking in air at the shaft seal.  That may also
explain the wet hose ends at the reservoir.

ooh. ive never seen that happen. that sounds expensive.. maybe a line is
clogged if it wont flow the pentosin and is spitting it out the top. that
might jive if it's blackish - it might have rubber in it? i just flushed my
system, its under a lot of pressure. it would empty the res in about 5
seconds. my gf was QUICK on the key. =)
