Posting for lister t44tq at mindspring.com (a.k.a. Taka) whom doesn't have
web access at the moment.
History of vehicle is that there has been consistent high oil consumption
for at least a
year or so, and the warrantee is about to expire. Patient VW New Beetle,
2.0 l auto,
stock. Parental car.

Anyone have advice on how to handle this? If enough support for a claim

apparently VAG may replace the engine.
