Exhaust flare tool?

Ok, so this isn't the exact answer, but it is a solution to be able to
seperate the pipes in the future. A couple of friends of mine have had 2 1/4
exhaust put on their VW's, and so we can drop the pipes out of the way when
needed, this is what we did. Draw the stock system out so you know where the
seperations are at. Then, JCWhitney sells wrap around clamps for about $15
(stainless) that join two pipes butted together, and they seal excelent. We
cut the exhaust where we wanted and put two on each car. It isn't quite as
nice as the factory, but we don't have to worry about rusted bolts in the
future either.

Subject: Exhaust flare tool?

Ok, my Audi question of the day:

Does anyone know of a inexpensive tool or a procedure to make the flares for
Audi exhaust pipes? I'm talking about the flares that are on the joining
sections (ex-between the middle and rear muffler sections) that use the
metal donuts in-between them. I need to replace the exhaust on one of my
4kq's soon, and I'd like to fab it myself, but I'm not sure how to do the
flaring.

Also, is there a good source for the three point flanges?

Thanks!
