Audi V8q vs. A8/S8q rear calipers...

Hi!
It seems up to about 1999 the Audi A8 quattro carried the same 269mm x
20mm rear brake discs as the Audi V8 quattro. Then with the S8 and stuff
like that it became 269mm x 22mm or 280mm x 22mm.
I have someone looking for S8/A8q rear calipers in order to make use of
the 280x22mm discs on a S2 fitted with RS2 engine and Porsche 993tt
front brakes.
Can anyone tell me how the V8 quattro, A8q (up to 1999), A8q (1999-) and
S8 rear calipers differ? Apart from the fact that the carrier bracket is
different in groove size for the disc between 20mm and 22mm thick brake
setups.
Part numbers are ofcourse all different, but judging by the fact that my
current type-44 is running C4 rear calipers, which differ in part number
but are identical in fitment, there might just be a possibility that the
parts are interchangable with a slight bit of work.
And leading on from this... does anyone have some leads on a smashed up
A8q (or perhaps S8) that is in the process of dismantling?
Thanks. :)
G.
