I had 2Bennett lighten a MC flywheel for me. As I recall, they took off 8
lbs, i.e, 18 lbs vs. 26 original. Originally intended for a 4ktq project,
It ended up in my urquattro when I had the clutch done last year.

I'm curious what a stock 4k flywheel weighs? I just recently got a 5ktq, and
have driven 4kq's for years. The 5ktq holds onto revs a LOT longer than the
4k's, and this is quite an annoyance when 2nd gear has bad syncros (It was
only $300). I suppose Audi did this to make up for the lack of torque on the
highway, makes it smoother to keep speed.
