brake bomb needed

Robert;
There's not much point buying a used bomb unless you know it's only a couple
years old. These units have a bladder inside with pressurized nitrogen on
one side of the bladder. The other side of the bladder takes the oil. Over
time the nitrogen diffuses through the bladder into the oil and the bomb
loses it's ability to store pressure. An old bomb is usually a dead or dying
bomb. They typically last 7 - 10 years. If you are going to the trouble of
putting it in, you might as well use one you know will last for a while.
There was a lister recharging them at one time - I forget the details.

robert-
i would be wary of james bell, although he is only asking 10$ and you
wouldn;t be out too much money if the bomb is bad. he sold me some rear
4kq tie rods on ebay a few years ago that were totally shot, not usable
at all. one of the rods had way too much play, and the mounting post on
the other one had sripped threads. when i returned them to him, he
accused me of taking my old tie rods off of my car and shipping them to
him, and wouldn't refund my money.
