GVWR is the maximum loaded weight of the vehicle.  Essentially curb 
weight plus whatever the manufacturer says is the maximum weight of 
passengers and cargo the vehicle can carry.

Curb weight is the vehicle with all fluids (including a full tank of 
gas, I believe) but no passengers or cargo.
