Hydraulic clutch question

You will find that this "rare" behavior becomes more and more common. My
5ktq took several months from occasional to nonfunctional. Replaced both
the master and slave. One hint: When it stops responding to pulling up
with your toe, you sometimes can get it to work for a while by "pumping"
the clutch pedal by hand.
