Hybrids vs modern Diesels (some Audi Content)

I vote for a Golf V with the 2.0L PD TDI, the DSG tranny and 4Motion!

I just read on VWVortex that just such a vehicle is being sold in Europe 
and can tow almost 4000lbs!
