I've had 195/50's on mine and they were pretty harsh without too much
ability to help absorb road impacts. This could contribute to your
high frequency of control arm bushing replacement. The only other
thing I can think of would be really rough roads. I'm guessing
roughly half of your yearly mileage is in the winter, so having the
stock tires/wheels on during winter kind of waters down my suggestion.
