Speedometer not working

I was on the freeway the other day and the speedometer stopped working.
Odometer not working either, (not really worried about that one.lol),
however, the Cruise Control is not working either.  I'm assuming it's
because the speedometer is not working.  I'm hoping it's just a wire
loose or something that I could easily fix myself.  Anyone have any
ideas?
