Well when I looked at car-part.com the first listing (from "Dads Auto
Parts") for a 96 A4 gauge cluster said this:

-A4Q,V6,4A,42K, 8D0919035GX

I'm going to assume that means it has 42K *miles* which should work
fine for $195.00. Unless my math conversion skills are failing me
greatly, I believe 42000 miles is less than 100000km.
