It's been a long time, I need some input on 17" wheels.

Hello all,

It's been quite some time since I posted here. Hope everyone is well. I've been plugging away on my CGT turbo, and she is running fine at the moment. Won a few shows with her, minor appearance in European Car this year too. I definitely enjoying it. 

The reason I am posting is that I am in the position of buying new tires for my CGT. I am currently running 16x7 et40 w/ 205/40-16 tires & wheels as well as a 1.5" suspension drop. Of course I would be replacing all 4 tires. But I really want 17"s on the car. 

Anyone running 17"s on a CGT? Any clearance issues? Offset #? I am not worried about a "rough ride" or "curb rash", mainly rubbing. I've pretty much retired the CGT to weekend/GTG/show only status with the addition of my 4KCSQ for my daily commute. So this is about the "bling" factor I suppose. ;-) 

Any help or input would be appreciated. Especially if you've BTDT.
