Audi Quattro Sport questions . . .

Well I kind of disagree. I think there may be a risk drive so far so soon
but that could be minimize with proper inspection and repair/maintenance as
needed. I believe cars like this one were built to be driven and should not
be garage queens. The previous owner of the company I work for, use to drive
his F40 to work most days.(he had 9 cars at one point) When he found he
wasn't driving it much anymore he sold it.
On the inspection issue, 2Bennet has a great reputation, good place to go.
If you want to drive all the way to Sacramento I can inspect it for you at
IPB-Autosport on Broadway in Sacramento. It is my friends shop but I worked
there for 8 years and worked for 3 Audi dealers the 9 years before that. I
still work down at the shop but on evenings and weekends primarily. I mostly
do race car prep and special cases where he wants a little bit of my
experience.
How soon do you want to take the car up to Portland? I have access to a
couple of enclosed trailers and have some family in Washington, might be a
good excuse to visit.
How ever you get it up to your friend I hope it all works out well.
Enjoy
Jim
