John Matras was the driver/writer that had the unfortunate "off" in Franks
Sq in the VCHC of 1993.  Writeup is on page 12 of the Sept 1993
quarterly.....'How I went Mano A Mano with a snake, and lost"   Matras
is/was a writer for European Car, as his reference to such is made in the
article.   Had to dust off the binder to find that one....
Looking back at these old issues,  Man, has the club changed!
