I'll plug Chris Semple at www.force5auto.com  in Concord NH.
He has a yard full of older Audis, and I'm sure there's a 5K wagon 
or two among them.

I don't know about the wagon, but when they replaced the gas
tank on my '89 200 TQ sedan, they had to drop the rear diff to 
make room to remove the tank.  Labor was expensive.
