I think Audi brake lines take what's called an ISO bubble double flare. I
know my standard double flare maker isn't appropriate for the brake lines
at the fittings on an Audi. Local FLAPS here carries appropriate metric
flared brake line in a variety of lengths ranging from about a foot to five
feet. They have a coupler so you can put two lengths together.
