Timing belt tensioner & spark plug question

Be sure to replace that idler while you are in there. I carefully replaced the timing belt on my son's 4000S and didn't replace the idler. Guess what failed 3 months later?

Correct. There is an idler pulley you should replace, though. Also,
most people replace the front crank seal while it's exposed.
