AMP termina l source

I've got to make a few harness for this A6 I have, and need to source some of the terminal. I can get the terminal housings through VW/AUDI, however VW only carries pigtails (terminals and wire). I've got all the crimping tools to crimp the terminals, and want to source terminals only. From what I understand AMP makes the terminals. Does anybody have an experience with this?
