Whoa! Man, my 87 CSTQ with 200k gets about 20mpg at that speed. Hmmm....

Thanks, figured it out!

Na 5000's have same first and second, but ratios differ third through fifth!
Fifth gear is the .86 (NA) vs. .73 (TQ)... Final drive is 3.89 on both. Knew
the final drive was the same or would have had problems with the Quattro
system!

Guess I have my next major project mapped out! Drive 160 or so miles daily,
higher rpm's are hurting the gas mileage! Old 87 got 29-30 mpg at 80 mph.
This car is only getting 24-25....
