5KT FWD motor compatible with 4kq tranny?

This raises a question that's been going around in my head for a while:  Is there a parts interchange list or equivalent somewhere on the web?  In 
another words, a chart or a listing that specifies what engine will fit with what tranny/chassis/driveline/whatever.  A suspension interchange listing 
would be stellar too.  I've looked, to no avail.  Like, if I wanted to drop an ABY + B5 S4 6-speed in my '86 4kq, would that work?  :o)  Only kidding, but it's 
the kind of thing I wonder about sometimes.
