No spark 4kq...

Listers,

Having some problems getting my 85 4kq winter beater on the road.

I bought it non running for $200.

When I got it, it would not crank over at all.

I replaced the starter and now it cranks.

At this point I checked for spark and fuel. I had spark but no fuel. The car 
would start briefly on starter fluid and then die out.

I noticed that the fuel pump would not prime when the key was turned. I 
undid the pump connections and tested the pump by applying 12v directly to 
it. It was dead. In went a replacement used fuel pump.

Tried again. No sound from fuel pump. In went new fuel pump relay.

Now the fuel pump primes and works fine. Now I just don't have any spark!

Somehow in the last week I lost spark. Any ideas?

I thought maybe a flakey ignition switch but we hardwired it and nothing 
changed.

Tomorrow we're gonna check the coil, ecu, etc and see what we find.

Anything I'm missing?
