That's just crappy service... if the MO states "International" and "$US"
there is no reason why they should not accept it. It's their business to do
so.
Is this the bank you do all of your banking with?
My Canadian bank will take even US personal checks... but I guess Canadians
are a trusting bunch.. ;)
Complain to the manager... see what kind of responce that gets you.

I'm envious, Dennis. None of the local banks here in the hinterlands will
even look at a Canadian PMO. I eventually had to just write it
off. Fortunately it wasn't a particularly sizeable amount.
