taillight lens removal

Phil,
I agree that a hair dryer is the best tool to use to take off the lenses -
but I've used Strip Caulk (generously) on my 1980 5k and was not too
impressed with the bond. I got a tube of black urethane adhesive (not RTV -
in a standard caulking gun sized canister) from my local Sherwin-Williams
auto paint supply shop and used it to install the taillights on my '87
5ktq - I don't worry about leaks there.
Cheers!

ok, could someone tell me what the secret to getting the rear taillight
lenses, on these cars, off is?

It's 3M Strip Caulk.

A hair dryer.
