I have used a mixture of Redline MT90 and Militec in 3 of my Audis. 
The MT90 is straight GL4 which is what the quattro transaxles require
and the Militec is a whiz-bang additive used by the military to extend
the life of similar parts in large military vehicles.

In each car, CGT, V8 5spd, and urq, this mix immediately smoothed out
the shifting in every condition and in the longer run, shift action
has continued to improve noticeably.

Far from a scientific analysis, but this has been my experience.  IUD.
