  ok i ll try it.

  Now the car is not running , the starter makes the engine turning but no start at all.

  I noticed when the car was running, when i moved the fuel distr, the engine stall or idle very ruogh, and when i put back the fuel distr at his place it took couple shacking before it run better again.....

  I putted out the fuel distr  4 inchs to remove the black unit connector and clean it,,,,, i puttted it back and try to start..... NO start now,,,, what did i do ? i did not unplug anything, only the black box connector(3 wires on it)

  What is the little black box close to the DPR (gray box ) ?

  Soemone here told me he had some problems with this unit, he chagnged it and now his problem is solved.

    I think you must fix knock sensor problem then read again-fix then read again, over and over till "4444" show up.  Try inserting fuse again, if same code shows up, then you must fix problem.  I fixed one knock sensor problem by using knock sensor from Audi 4000S (fwd, 4 cylinder).  This knock sensor is the ring type with bolt through middle which is much easier to torque correctly.  One think to try on yours is to remove knock sensor, clean off mounting surface and reinstall and re-torque to correct specs (15 ft-lbs I think).

          Hi Denis,


          Glad to see your CEL is working.  You may not like what its telling you, 

          but until you see "4444" you got problems to fix.
