power steering pump got noisy,,,,, rebuiltable ?

  No its not the belt.
  A belt makes squik squik sounds,,, the pump makes cruch crun clock clock noise , from inside the pump. From the outside i heard bearing or bushing gringing...
  The belt is almost new.

  I sused a long stick and use it as a stedoscope as doctors do. So the the delailed explaination of the noise.

    How is the belt? It sounds silly but,I had one I thought for sure the pump was bad. When I tryed to replace it, the pump felt fine so replaced the belt ( that was bad ) I never heard it again. Other noises oh yah! By the way it was a 85 4kq
