You basically have to do the timing belt to get the water pump out and back
in, Bernard.  I'd do all of it over--tensioner and belt--just so everything
is at the same age/mileage.   You'd have to take off the bumper cover,
intercooler,  TB cover, TB,  crank pulley,  TB compartment back cover
(unless you want to "hack" the pump removal by "flexing" that sheetmetal), etc.
