'84 ksq stumble...can't restart

George,

Pop the hood and find the fusebox just behind the driver side shock tower.  Take off the lid and pull the fuel pump fuse 
(#13 I think, but don't quote me on that).  Try to start the car.  It should crank over, catch for a moment, then die.  Reinsert 
the fuse and try to start the car normally.

It's a trick I developed from when my car was doing that a lot.  It's something to do with the fuel pressure in the lines.  If it 
works it's not a permanent fix but will keep you from getting stranded while you sort out the problem.  Hope that helps.
