Porche 944 question

Wow, that does sound like a nice option. I would also concur with their recomendation for using a LT1. I have 2 LT1 powered cars, one is an ex-patrol car the other is a 1978 Impala station wagon that we droped a LT1 in when the original motors started to get tired at 450,000 miles (she now has over 525,000 on her). The LT1 is a great engine, very powerful and extremely reliable and very low cost to maintain (and repair in the case of rare failures).

It is in good shape but the Red paint has oxidized and needs major compounding or maybe paint, but I did not see any rust and no noticaeable dings. Major mechanicals are in good condition, but need some exhaust repairs, timing belt, window switch fix, among some other minor by my standards fixes. The car ran and drove well and appears to have been well maintained.
