Porche 944 question

What all-aluminum v8 could you be referring to?  (mocks intrigue)

PS: They're not that hard to find, but you usually have to buy the parts car
that goes with it--often for less than $500 for 3.6s.

There is another all aluminum 4-valve V8 that is far cheaper than the
Porsche.  Not exactly common, but available in 3.6 or 4.2l. (MAC)
