Porsche 944

The hot ticket for an engine swap on a 944 is to drop in a 240hp (stock 
BTW...) 968 3.0 litre Porsche engine. This is the best way to go - 
period. To each his own I guess.

I personally like my 150 hp 8v'er 944 engine just fine. It revs all the 
way to redline very smoothly and my limited slip 016 gearbox hooks up 
all that and more.

John Buffum once told me, "if you can drive your car flat out all the 
time, then you need a bigger engine."
