how rare is the 4000 Quattro Sport "Quattro Script" interior??

a friend of mine is parting out a '87 4000Q and it has a black cloth sport 
interior, and the seats say "quattro" on them in a diagonal pattern, as well as 
the doorpanels... they are all in nice shape and up for grabs..  ive never 
seen this before..  how rare is this interior? and did they come on special 
models?   do you know if the front seats will fit in a mk1/mk2 vw?
