Bypass valve installation in Type 44

Ok, 

I've checked the archives, but couldn't find any posts or websites that detail how to install a boost bypass valve into a Type 44.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Any vendor sell a "kit" for this?

Also, how much more effective is the '91 single pass IC compared to the stock dual pass one?  Worth the bother to install?
