High pressure hose problems?

One thing I've been considering...

The working pressure in these hoses is around 1800 psi, right ?

I live in a town that does lots of heavy machinery and ag machinery support,
and there's at least one local business that does nothing but build and
rebuild hydraulic hoses.  Heck, the "fleet farm" retail store here in town
stocks 4000psi working pressure hoses in various lengths.  

The trick then is getting our funky banjo connectors onto "normal" hoses.
I've got all my PS equipment removed from the 90Q and I figure I'll run it
by one of these local shops to see if they can do anything amazaing w/ the
hose.  My suspicion is that the connectors will be the stumbling block, but
I'll let people know how it goes.
