100CSA 2.8..... rotten gas mileage?

Since my '94 V6 takes a while to warm up, and the temperature gauge 
never hits the low end of the normal scale, I'm thinking my V6 might need 
a new t-stat.  Can you give a link to the directions, or write up a short 
procedure?
