Fuel line work around needed (SJ)

Well, the tie-clip is reachable with the tank in place. It's plastic and
attaches by sliding over a golf-tee like fixture welded to the tank. All
you have to do is turn it/push it in the right direction and the tie comes
off. Once out in the open, it can be opened. Again, the only other thing
holding the hoses is Duct tape. It's pretty tough, but it will pull loose
enough for the hoses to slide out. Note that the return line loops around
to the driver side somewhat and comes into where it attaches from that side
while the supply line goes off toward the passenger side. Both have strips
of tape holding them onto the tank a few inches out from where you can see
them through the opening in the trunk. I had my tank out to replace it, so
I could pull the tape off and stick more back on the new tank in
approximately the same locations. But after reading my description,
someone else on the lists was able to get his hoses out without dropping
the tank any.
