High pressure hose problems?

Audi's or Worldpac's supply chain management would be grossly 
incompetent if they kept 14 years of inventory lying around.  The 
hoses probably aren't that old- just probably made in some hellhole 
by an incompetent manufacturer.

I've found components with rubber in them are now coming stamped with 
expiration dates.  Latest example was a seal+ piston boot kit for a 
front UFO caliper.

Oh- speaking of which, whatever you do, DON'T nick the boot on the 
main guide pin on UFO calipers popping them off to clean+re-grease 
the "pin"...the boot isn't NLA, it has Never Been Available.  I 
repaired mine, using a combination of some sort of special glue I 
found at home depot that claimed to be able to glue rubber.
