Denis,
Getting in on this thread way to late & this info is
related to my 87 5kq with the NF motor allmost like
the later style in Denis's 100Q but,
Have you performed the Output checks for the car?
That will tell you if the Differential pressure
regulator (DPR) is working I think its Grey in color
with a 2 pin connector on front right side of fuel
dist. The tests allso activates the Carbon canister,
the idle stabalizer valve (ISV) & the cold start valve
(CSV).
You can allso check the fuel to air mix (CO
adjustment) small 3mm allen to adjust the mix from the
fuel distributor. Counter clockwise to richen the mix,
& clockwise to decrease. But some breather lines need
to be disconnected to get it rite.
The pressure regulator is more tucket up inside the
fender & the spec on that is 6.3 + or - 0.2 bar (88-94
psi).
Again this info pertains to my NF motor but the
proccedure maybe the same. Do you have the Bentley
Manual?
Thanks
Ron
