Hi,
After struggling to keep my rear caliper from sticking for about a
year I finally checked Force 5 asking Chris if he had a rebuildable L.
Rear caliper for my '88 5KCSTQ. He offered a remanufactured one for $100.
I bit and it was shipped promptly with my promise to send the core back as
soon as it came off.
Well....what a surprise, the reman looked like a new unit.
Sandblasted and painted, brand new e-brake return spring, safety plug in
the inlet hole, and even a rubber cap on the beeder spigot. All this AND
the caliper came complete with rails new pins and seals and a set of pads
already installed with a foam pad to keep them in place.
Unit went in like a dream. Bled it and, lo and behold,...I could
stop with the e-brake and have it release immediately with out having to
add a helper spring. Kudos for Chris!!! A great deal.

P.S. Sure beats spending 4 hrs getting that little rod shaped pin in place
for the e-brake lever connection to back of the piston while installing
the main piston.
