Only a general note. I had a client who needed an engine last month, called
everyone I knew, not one to be had nationwide. Gave him the bad news, told
him to ring the dealer for a reman option(if there even is one). Rang him
the following week, just as a courtesy followup, he'd said the quote was so
laughable that he'd sent the car to auction and taken the loss. This from a
guy that was onboard for a 4800$ used engine. Moral: make sure it's under
warranty, that's a car with lots of unique bits!
