You can get left hand drill bits at Auto Zone, but unless I owed this guy a
HUGE favor, I'd have him have someone else do it. If you want to help him,
take the head off and point him in the direction of your favorite machine
shop.

Honestly, take the head off and pay a machine shop to do it. Unless the head
is clamped in a fixture and the studs are drilled exactly at the stud center
and sqaure with the head you will have problems down the road.
