FYI to listers with alcantara trim interiors:

Thanks to Louis-Alain Richard, who responded to my post about cleaning alcantara a while back, I have spoken to the only U.S. distributor for alcantara fabric (manufactured in Italy) about buying some to reupholster my seats.  It's not cheap -- $90/yard x 55" wide, but that should be enough to reupholster a driver's seat or a few door panels with frays or stains, etc.  I've got a grungy stain on the rear bench that won't come out completely (probably from a battery change by one of the infamous Monkey Lads.)  He's sending me a few samples of the fabric in tan and cream colors (says there are 18 colors available for the automotive-grade Alcantara) and if any of them are a close match for the inserts in my '87 5KCSTQ, I'm going to buy some.  

I was thinking that some listers may want to join up with me to make a group purchase in various colors.  Once I get the samples in the next few days, I'll take some photos, etc.  In the meantime, let me know if you'd be interested, and here are the links:
