sweet car. funny, the salesguy started first on the interior
and there he started by telling us about the subwoofer. he could learn
a bit more about selling cars ;)

the exhaust note is astounding. the paddle shifting would take
getting used to but i welcome the challenge. pardon my french, but the
car pulls like a motherfucker. we went to the dealership in an x40 (or
whatever it's called) biturbo porsche 911, and the RS6 does not seem to
pull as hard. neither accelerates like a proper motorcycle, but the
porsche comes close. the RS6 is less visceral yet felt a little more
exhilarating, but i have fewer miles in the porsche. the RS6 interior
is exquisite, the napa leather headliner and visors appears hand stitched.
powdercoating on the handles is a nice touch. the exhaust note is
gorgeous, as are the fender flares. i prefer the A8 interior and wheels.
we had the RS6 to about 110 MPH and it felt as sure-footed as my A4 1.8
avant at the same speed.

if i could choose between them, and could only own one car?
tough choice, actually. the RS6 would be it, though. in a perfect
world i'd have both and the RS6 would be an avant.
