tires on 4KQ

I know that you are not supposed to mix tires on AWD cars, but i have a minor dilema.  When i was out of town my neighbors house burnt to the ground, taking the front drivers side tire with it.  i have another tire mounted on a rim of the same size and approximate tread wear but different pattern.  In the short term would this be drivable or should i wait till the new tire comes in?  
Also, though the tire was damaged it was minor bubbleing and a melted valve stem that did it in.  What are the chances that any of the rubber bits behind the rim were damaged too?  Brake lines, ball joints e.t.c.
