  If the choice is walking or putting on a mismatched tire I'd go for the 
mismatched tire, especially if it's only short term.  If it's not on the 
front, don't lock your diffs in this configuration; contrawise, if you'll 
need to lock your rear diff put it on the front.

  As far as the other parts, well, check for obvious damage and just watch 
them for premature failure.
